Blues Avenue Bungalow
I love my orchard of 15 fruit trees and multiple grape vines, from chardonnay to champagne. Here at the bungalow I paint, write and work on my music. Free time is for reading, gardening, and my kitties. I have been married for 25 years and live in Santa Clarita, California.
I graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a B.A. Degree in Communication Studies. I first worked at Disney Studios as a receptionist and left there to sing and become production supervisor for Busch Gardens. After appearing with several Musical Theater Companies in LA, I joined the chart topping “Spiral Staircase” in Las Vegas Nevada. This led to my own show performing 6 nights a week, 4 shows a nights for five years on the Las Vegas Strip. Princess Cruises offered me a guest artist contract where the hours were better with just 1 show a week. Firmly back on land in LA, I took TV roles including ensemble hidden camera work. 9/11 led to a passion for Veterans and US Military and fueled the desire to honor them with a play. The play with 1940’s Music is called, “Wartime Romance” and has been produced in Branson, Missouri and twice at the Santa Clarita Valley Performing Arts Center. Currently we are working to get it on tour. My first book “From Farm Boy to Flyboy” is a biographical love story set in WWII and a companion piece to “Wartime Romance”. For the last 15 years I have enjoyed writing feature travel articles for Magazines covering properties all over the United States and Canada and hit every inch of California co-producing and writing a tourism video for the California Tourism Bureau " California dreaming".
